It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Black Graduate Student Association at the University of South Carolina! On behalf of the more than 700 graduate students of African descent, I greet you. I am ecstatic that you are taking the time to peruse our site in an effort to learn important information about our diverse, motivated, service-, and academically driven organization.
The BGSA at USC is accepting the responsibility of providing programs and projects that are designed to enhance the overall experience for masters and doctoral students, whether they are part- or full-time. We are dedicated to collaborating with community organizations to improve the overall status of students within USC and outside communities.
It is my absolute honor to serve as your 2008-09 President. Consider this heartfelt welcome an invitation to join us. I look forward to seeing each of you at our monthly meetings and sponsored programs and events.
