The Social Committee is responsible for planning events that provide a social outlet for members and friends of BGSA. The social events of BGSA are not only enjoyable, but create networks and foster relationships among members. The Professional & Leadership Development Committee is responsible for developing programs and events that enhance the educational experience of students at USC. Professional & Leadership Development events provide resources and opportunities for members to network, enhance leadership skills and attain practical tools that are valuable for one’s professional career. These opportunities are interdisciplinary and applicable for graduates in all concentrations. The Community Service Committee is responsible for developing moral and goodwill through community service. Community Service committee develops events and programs that provide opportunities for students to give back to the community. The Information & Archives Committee is responsible for the documentation and preservation of all records and events of BGSA. This committee is responsible for taking pictures at BGSA events, creating an organizational scrapbook, and updating BGSA media outlets (BGSA website, Facebook, etc.). The committee is responsible for communicating with other committees and relies on the Secretary for records when needed. The Fundraising/Finance committee is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of fundraising activities and assist with program/operating budgets of BGSA. Also, this committee makes budgetary recommendations, as appropriate, to Executive Board.
