Oxfam Hunger Banquet occurs every year in conjunction with National Hunger and Homelessness Week.
he Oxfam Hunger Banquet is a banquet to raise awareness about the relationship between poverty and hunger. The idea behind this is to illustrate to the patrons the discrepancies in hunger/poverty between the three social classes. The banquet is at 6:00pm on Wednesday, November 11th in the Russell House Ballroom. If you have any questions please contact Chris.

“Life isn’t fair—and neither is this. At an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet®, the place where you sit, and the meal that you eat, are determined by the luck of the draw—just as in real life some of us are born into relative prosperity and others into poverty.

When you host an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet® in your community or on your campus, you’re changing the way people think about poverty and hunger. Your event can also raise funds to support Oxfam’s life-saving work around the world. So join forty years of tradition this fall and host or attend Oxfam’s memorable interactive event.”
