Potential or New Members

We are so glad you are interested in joining the Students Nurses' Association at University of South Carolina! We have many great incentives and benefits of being a part of a great organization for student nurses.

Incentives of becoming a member:

• The opportunity to meet new people in the same major

• Resume promoter

• Exposure to political issues in nursing

• Exposure to speakers of different types of nursing

• Opportunities to volunteer in the community

• Opportunities to obtain leadership positions

• A goal of membership is to receive cords of honor at graduation

• (New) Mentor Program for Nursing Students (see Member Only)

Some typical events during the school year include:

• Monthly meeting with outstanding speakers

• SNA Back to School Bash each semester

• Community Service Events

• Blood drives

• South Carolina Student Nurses’ Association Convention

• National Convention and so much more!

Membership Application

We are glad you want to join us! For new members or renewals, completely fill out both forms (links provided below) and turn them in with the correct amount of money (please make checks payable to the Student Nurses' Association).

*Note: You only need to pay the fees for the SNA at USC Membership listed at the top of the first form.*

You may bring your completed applications to our office (Room 512 in the College of Nursing), any SNA function, such as meetings, and give them to any Executive Board Officer. You may also mail your completed applications and fee payment to:
