  • Village Health Camps

    For the past 20 years, ARM has been sponsoring anywhere from 10-15 health camps a year. In addition to ensuring that there are specialists available, ARM also provides basic medications at these free camps. This particular health camp was at Kalikapur village, home to nearly 300+ families.

  • Day 11 & 12

    The USC GlobeMed chapter raised enough money to sponsor 100 mosquito nets to help stop the spread of malaria. We are proud to announce that all of the Settled Guests in 3 different villages received a net! Settled Guests are villagers who are lowest in economic status, usually a result of flooding of their farmland.

  • You’ve Goat to Be Kidding Me!

    15 of the 50 beneficiaries that ARM provided 2 goats to! The idea is that the goats will be an alternate source of income for these widows, elderly, and other wise financially disabled people since the destruction of Cyclone Phailin.

  • Day 6: Balasore

      The GROW team visited Balasore to do some shopping at the food market and tour the District Hospital. The unfortunate poor condition of the hospital is evident in the picture below. We ended the day with a hike through the Niligiri mountain range and paid our respects at a temple in the mountain pass
