Application Process
Students wishing to apply for the 2008-2009
academic year should attend one of the interest meetings in early
January. These meetings will be held in the Russell House at
8:00pm on the following dates:
January 28 Russell House Room 315
January 29 Russell House Room 315
January 30 Russell House Room 203

The NSE Office has application forms and
NSE directories with descriptions of all the institutions in the
NSE Consortium. There is a non-refundable application fee that
must be submitted with the application. In addition, you must
also submit two letters of recommendation and a brief essay
explaining why you want to participate in the NSE Program.
Applications are due Friday February 15, 2008 by 5:00pm.
However, many schools have limited spaces, so earlier
application improves chances for placement.
When your application is completed, you must contact the NSE
office at 777-4333 to set up an interview. All interviews must
be completed by Thursday February 28, 2008 for placement at
the NSE conference. Late applications or interviews can be
scheduled, but space will be extremely limited.
Post-Conference Placements- We are no longer
accepting for the 2007-2008 School Year!
Roughly two-thirds of the NSE schools are still accepting
students for exchange for the 2007-2008 school year. Any students
who are interested need to fill out an application and contact our
office to set up an appointment. Please indicate that the
appointment is for NSE. Catalogs of the participating schools are
available in our office as well. Schools will continue to accept
students on a first come first serve basis until they fill up. We
will continue to consider applications into the fall.
