| Jamie Downs, a senior Advertising Major, was the unanimous decision for the role of Basileus. The Greenwood, SC native was known around the University of South Carolina campus for his hard work ethic, which can only be matched by his intelligence and business demeanor. He served as the President for the Association of African Americans Students ( the largest student organization on campus), and he has also served as the Chief of Staff to the Student Body President.
Serving in such capacities has earned Jamie the honor of having his name mounted in the USC Hall of Leaders, an honor only given to a few students at the University. Upon graduation Jamie is planning on entering the work force for a year. After doing so, Jamie then intends on enrolling in a Joint-Degree Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he will earn both an MBA and JD.
