ABOUT US

MEMBERSHIP
If you are interested in being a member of SPA, membership dues are decided upon by the membership and collected annually. For a current year's membership (effective August 2007 - August 2008), the cost is $45 per person. By paying dues, you are eligible to participate in events coordinated by the SPA committees including, but not limited to: social events including SPA Tailgates, the SPAliday Party, and Comps Celebration; professional development; orientation and special events including the Welcome Back BBQ, End-of-the-Year Banquet (reduced price), End-of-the-Year BBQ, and Hooding Ceremony; intramurals; and helping to coordinate GARP, new student orientation, community service events, and Career in Student Affairs week. Currently SPA members are eligible for a Conference Lottery, where they are eligible to win $100 at the End-of-the-Year Banquet to reimburse participation in professional conferences.
