The Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support at the University of South Carolina has earned national recognition for its outstanding professional development programs. The Division offers a number of professional development opportunities for its staff members: it holds monthly Professional Development meetings, holds an annual in-house conference (ideaPOP!) each summer, and hosts an Authors Forum series, which has brought speakers such as George Kuh and David Callahan.
