Sponsoring a vendor can be used as a fund raiser for your group - negotiate before agreeing to be a sponsor.  Since members of your organization must accompany the vendor the entire time they are on Greene Street, make sure whatever payment you receive is worth this trouble.  You are in the driver's seat - keep that in mind when negotiating with the vendor. 

Vendors must have a club or organization sponsor them to be on campus.  If you wouldn't want them offering their services or goods to you and your friends, then you might want to say 'no' to sponsoring them.

Student Organizations Sponsoring Outside Vendors must complete a reservation request form in RHUU 218 at least 5 days in advance.  A member of the sponsoring organization must be present with the vendor during solicitation.  A list of the organization's members that will staff the table must be turned in the day before the vendor comes to campus.  A $25 fee is charged for a vendor to set up on Greene Street.  The sponsoring organization is responsible for this fee.
