VOX, to clear up the confusion, is the latin word for voice. We believe that everyone has a voice, and it should be heard.

Voices for Planned Parenthood is a student run organization that raises awareness for Planned Parenthood on campuses nation wide.

VOX educates students about sexual health and family planning options, helps students voice their opinions about legislation affecting reproductive rights, and supports our local branch of Planned Parenthood.

The USC chapter of VOX's immediate goals for this and next semester include: clearing up misconceptions about EC, Birth Control, Planned Parenthood's services, and general sexual awareness. We achieve this by distributing information and protection on Greene St., as well as serving the Columiba Planned Parenthood in whatever way possible.

Planned Parenthood Health Systems, Inc. is a private non-profit community agency that is committed to providing confidential and affordable reproductive health care for women, men, and teens in North Carolina, South Carolina, and West Virginia.

Sexuality education includes sex, but also the roles, behaviors, and values people associate with being a man or a woman. Sexuality is both physical and emotional. You can see it in everything we do; the clothes we wear, the way we walk, the way we talk, and how we show affection.

Planned Parenthood Health Systems strongly believes that sexuality education begins in the home and that a parent is a child's most important educator. Planned Parenthood believes that everyone, regardless of age, is entitled to accurate information regarding sexuality from an appropriate source.
